This is the process of research that takes place in the case of an investment or when borrowing money for a business to make sure that there is no possibility of anything taking place that will cause any harm to the borrower or the lender. The main investor takes time to investigate the background of the borrower to make sure that the borrower does have the means to repay the loan.
